So thrilled to have found Iggy Haven!
I can not recommend Angela and Ernie enough!
We have a Labrador mastiff cross called Roxy from a rescue centre who has many
issues with trust so leaving her with anyone is a challenge but she settled so quickly at Iggy Haven and Angela and Ernie have become great friends. Always professional and always having the dogs best interests at heart. Thank you for taking us on Roxy loves coming to stay!!I am sure we will see you again soon.

After a couple of short stays at ‘The Iggy Haven’ with Angela and Ernie,
my husband and I felt confident enough to leave the dogs
for a longer period of time.
I was a bit concerned initially, as Poppy and Heidi are both very boisterous, but I needn’t have been, as Angela and Ernie did an excellent job; walks every day,
even in the bitter cold temperatures of January/February, updates via email on how they were getting on were very helpful, and gave us real peace of mind.
Angela also washed and packed towels and blankets before I collected the dogs,
which was a big help!
Poppy and Heidi also seemed to adapt quickly to being in their temporary home,
and integrated well with the other dogs. From what Angela tells us, they also seem
to have taken a shine to Ernie; Heidi sitting almost on top of him on the back of his chair, and Poppy on his lap. This interaction is very important to us, as our dogs love attention and cuddles.
Feeding was an issue the first day or two, but Angela soon found a way around that,
and they were eating normally soon after.
This couple have had many dogs of their own over the years, and appear to dedicate their time, care and love for the welfare of these lovely creatures.
I would not hesitate to recommend ‘The Iggy Haven’ in Minehead
(so glad I spotted their advertisement at White Lodge Vets).
Angela and Ernie are a truly lovely couple, and nothing is too much trouble!
